Gobindgarh Fort is one of the most exquisite tourist places in Amritsar. It shouts the grand tales of the history of Punjab. This historic fort was built around 257 years and has witnessed quite the history till then. It began with the Bhangi Misl era and ended with the Indian Army during times of The British East India Company. Gobindgarh Fort was initially named as ‘Bhagian da Qilla’ and was constructed by Gujar Singh in 1760’s.
