Day 1: Arrival at Bhubaneswar Transfer to Puri (65 km / 2 hrs)

 

Day 2: Puri – Jagannath Temple – Chilika Lake (Satpada) – Puri (110 km round trip / 3 hrs)

 

Day 3: Puri – Barkul (Chilika Lake) – Gopalpur (180 km / 6 hrs)

 

Day 4: Gopalpur – Chandragiri – Taptapani – Gopalpur (140 km round trip / 5 hrs)

 

Day 5: Gopalpur – Bhubaneswar Local Sightseeing (180 km / 4.5 hrs)

 

Day 6: Bhubaneswar Departure

 

Day 1: Arrival at Bhubaneswar and Transfer to Puri (60 km / 2 hrs)

Pickup from Bhubaneswar airport. Proceed to Puri. En-route visit Dhauli (the peace pagoda), Lingaraj Temple, and Chausath (64) Yogini Temple. After reaching Puri, check into the hotel in the evening and enjoy time at Puri Beach.

Day 2: Puri – Excursion to Jagannath Temple and Chilika Lake (110 km / 4–5 hrs)

After morning breakfast, Darshan at Sri Jagannath Temple (Non-Hindus are not allowed), Gundicha Temple (Mausima Temple), and Bedi Hanuman Temple. Depart for Satapada, Chilika. En-route visit Alarnath Temple. After reaching Chilika Lake, take a boat (direct payment) to spot Irrawaddy Dolphins and visit the Hradaya–Sagar Sangam, where the lake meets the sea. Enjoy the day at Chilika Lake, India’s biggest inland lake spread over 1,100 sq. km. Return to Puri in the evening, relax at Golden Beach, and enjoy shopping at the local market.

Day 3: Puri – Barkul (Chilika Lake) – Gopalpur (180 km / 6 hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Proceed to Barkul (Chilika) to visit Asia's largest sweet water lake. Visit Kalijai Temple situated in the middle of the lake. After the visit, drive to Gopalpur and check into the hotel.

Day 4: Gopalpur – Excursion to Chandragiri and Taptapani (140 km / 5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Chandragiri to visit the Buddhist Monastery (approx. 80 km drive). Later proceed to Taptapani for a bath at the Hot Water Spring. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Return to Gopalpur in the evening and enjoy time at the beach.

Day 5: Gopalpur – Bhubaneswar (180 km / 4.5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Bhubaneswar. Visit Rajarani Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, Parshurameshwaram Temple, Khandagiri, and Udaygiri Jain caves.

Day 6: Departure from Bhubaneswar

Check out from the hotel. Visit Nandankanan Zoo, famous for its wildlife sanctuary, white tiger, and lion safari (closed on Mondays), and the Tribal Museum (also closed on Mondays). If time permits, stop by Ekamra Haat for shopping. Later, transfer to the airport/railway station to catch your onward flight/train with a bag full of memories.
